Keystone is seeking Junior Task Managers in Washington, DC to support one of our valued clients, one of the world's leading professional services firms and the fastest growing Big Four accounting firms in the United States.

The Junior Task Manager will provide accounting and financial statement expertise to support client audit readiness program activities. Lead business management and/or financial management task orders. Lead performance of financial statement audits goals and deliverables. Assist with the development and implementation of corrective action plans, assist in preparing the agency financial report. Provide strategic ideas and solutions to tasks identified and issues that arise.  

Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing audit readiness support.
  • Leading business management and/or financial management services projects.
  • Leading performance of financial statement audit goals and deliverables.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Assisting in preparing the agency financial report.
  • Providing strategic ideas and solutions to tasks identified and issues that arise.

Job Requirements

  • BS/BA in MIS, finance, engineering, accounting, or related field.
  • 4 years or more of accounting and/or financial management experience, including 3 or more years of progressive experience in leading business management and/or financial management services projects.
  • Experience performing financial statement audits in DoD, federal agencies, or commercial Fortune 400 organizations and/or preparation of assertion packages.
  • MUST BE A US CITIZEN with an Interim Secret Security Clearance (or higher) or possess the ability and intention of obtaining a Secret Clearance. 
  • Must have 20 hours of continuing professional education and training this year and 120 hours of continuing professional education and training over a three-year rolling period.  
  • CDFM, or CGFM certification is a plus. 

Desired Skills: 

  • Audit readiness preparation for an SBR or PP&E audit IAW FIAR Guidance.
  • Preparations and/or reviews of SBR or E&C assessable unit assertion packages IAW FIAR Guidance.
  • GAAP / GAGAS / Internal Control over financial reporting (ICOFR) experience.
  • FASAB, SSAC, and SFFAS experience.
  • OMB Circulars A-123, A-127, A-134, A-136 and other OMB policies.
  • DoD and Air Force financial management policies and procedures.
  • Air Force policies, systems and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property, and material management.
  • Familiarity with Job Order Cost Accounting (JOCAS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
