Keystone Advisors is an independent Certified Public Accounting firm that specializes in providing Financial Advisory Solutions, Technology Management, Accounting and Auditing Services, Business Performance and Transformation Solutions, Program Management Support, Budget Support, Interim CFO Solutions and Staff Augmentation Services to Government Agencies, Corporate Entities and leading Accounting and Audit firms in Chicago, Washington, DC, Alexandria, VA and other metropolitan areas.

Keystone is looking for a Business Consultant to join our team to support one of our healthcare clients. Primary tasks will include providing consulting services, contract review and vendor spend analysis of various operating expenses for the purpose of facilitating cost reductions and cost containment.

The Business Consultant will develop both short-term and long-term work streams after reviewing Accounts Payable and Vendor Contract data and develop business cases to provide recommendations for vendor supply chain strategy to facilitate cost reductions

The Business Consultant will actively participate in the execution and implementation of  strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation processes to produce cost reductions and cost containment.

This role will require expert level Microsoft Excel skills.

The majority of the work will be temporarily performed remotely; eventually you will  be required to work onsite at the client’s office located downtown Chicago.  

 

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field

Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years of Financial and/or Accounting consulting experience
  • Experience in building and presenting business cases
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in Business and Cost Analysis

        Skills:

  • Ability to work with a team of analysts, consultants and other staff from the Supply Chain Management, Finance, Budgeting and Accounting teams and actively participate in the execution and implementation of cost reduction and cost containment strategies
  • Ability to analyze Accounts Payable (AP) and Vendor Contract data
  • Expert level Microsoft Excel skills including If statements, Nested formulas, Parsing data, pivot tables
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including strong storytelling skills through the use of Microsoft Powerpoint to express ideas
  • Ability to remain flexible amid changing needs
